One Week Intensive Pure Improvisation Summer Camp - with Performance, taught and directed by Executive Instructor, JW Myers.

Students ages 7-17 will participate in a high-energy, fully participatory improvisation summer program. Five hours per day, for a total of twenty-five hours of professional improvisation training. The entire week is capped by a “Whose Line Is It Anyway” style performance for a live audience of family and friends. Every student is guaranteed to participate in the show.

Improvisation is a crucial acting performance skill, as well as a general life skill that teaches children self-esteem, confidence, public speaking, social skills, and well, it’s a heckuva lot of fun! Improvisation taps into a child’s natural creative resources, and tends to spark enthusiasm and expanded creativity in every area of a child’s life. In a world where the creative instincts in our children are consistently being dulled by so many factors in the world in which we live, improvisation training is just the right tool to inspire that creative spark within your child.

Every student participates in every exercise conducted in the workshop, and it is estimated that there will be 7-10 exercises conducted each day of camp. All of the necessary performance games and skills for the Saturday night show will also be taught, and a great time is promised for all.

Early-bird sign-up assures you a discounted spot in this one-time opportunity. The class is limited to 24 slots, so please sign-up to get on the list right now!

Additionally, the Saturday night performance will be filmed, and a short highlight reel will be posted on the internet shortly after the performance.
