All of his career Ty continued to write drama and comedy scripts for stage and screen which got produced and even won some fancy awards. In 2007, Ty was given the title of "Best Playwright" by the Baltimore City Paper for "The Blessed Mothers of War" and his play "Finding Fossils" was named "Best Production" of the 2008 Baltimore Playwrights Festival. Brett Born has been a veteran writer for over thirty years. At the age of sixteen, Brett was invited to take correspondence courses through the prestigious Institute of Children's Literature. For two magical years, Brett learned how to write for children of all ages, from the very young to the very old.
